Shock Pad - Artificial Grass & Playground underlay

Description

Available in 2 sizes:

Shock Pad - 0.90 x 2.25 x 45mm  (2.02 SQM)

Shock Pad - 0.90 x 2.25 x 35mm (2.02 SQM)

Our shock pads are designed to protect playing children against heavy head injuries. PlayPad is installed under suitable play surfaces and makes it an impact absorbing surface. For a prompt and economical installation, the PlayPad is supplied as interlocking panels — 2.25m x 0.90m (2.025m2 per piece).

Traditionally natural turf or loose materials, like woodchips, bark or even sand, are used for impact absorption at playgrounds. However, the quality of these materials is often influenced by weather and pollution.

Playpad shock pads can be installed easily on a sand or crushed stone sub-base, or an (existing) concrete sub-base. Due to the very high permeability, the surface will remain ‘dry’ during and after heavy rainfall.
